AMD'S K5 HITS FIRST SILICON
(November 27th 1994) EE Times this week reported that AMD has 
gotten first silicon on their K5 Pentium-compatible chip, and 
even successfully booted windows. Alpha samples will be 
shipping to select customers by year's end.
